Training tips

Basic rules for training

Train your dog to succeed -not fail

1. know your dogs personality type and treat him accordingly.

2. Give one command in normal tone and treat him accordingly.

3. Don't obtain response by threats: do it by conditioning the responses.

4. Be decisive in what you are teaching, give commands, not requests.

5. Don't try to accomplish too much too soon.

6. Be patient.

7. Be object

Even a professionally trained dog can loose all of his training. Dogs like people must practice to maintain or improve on skills. Children, not being worked and inconstancy can undermined even the best trained dog. Set aside time each week to work with your dog. Small problems can become major one in a short period of time. Some problems with a trained dog can be solved with the training of the owner. If you have a dog professionally trained take time with your trainer to learn how to communicate with your dog.

Advanced Gun Dog Training

Have you been hunting with your dog a season or Two? Are you starting to think it would be nice for your dog to do blind retrieves, sit on the flush or learn to lay down in a goose blind.? You may want to consider Advance Gun dog training. Any extra training will add polish and control. The time involved will be dependent on what level the dog is at and what you want accomplished.
